Hi, I’m Bill Jarmain.    My wife Kerry and I  operated a steel fabrication business in the Hawkesbury region near Sydney. Back in 2001 we realized that the city “ Rat Race “ was creeping into our once peaceful semi-rural lifestyle and there were never enough hours in a day just to relax and enjoy our surroundings.      Enough was enough, so we began looking for the right place where we could enjoy life with the kids grown up and have some time to ourselves while doing what we did best, make things.  Narromine was a spot on a map, by a river, in a valley. The wealth of history and community spirit that sets a Town apart from a City and a lifestyle apart from a place to sleep at night drew us to settle here.      We came to town and bought a factory that had housed a Panel Beating business before they moved on to bigger things. During October 2001 we set up with myself as the All Rounder and Kerry as the driving force that kept me going. Relocating was the best move we ever made and we keep finding new reasons to love it here.      We started out just doing Sheet Metal and the odd fabrication job. Things were going well enough until I got sick of knocking my ute around dropping jobs off, going to the tip and so on. I went looking for a trailer to do the rougher jobs. After looking around at the trailers that were on offer I figured that I was a welder, I had steel, I should be able to build a trailer that would take the knocks that you expect in the bush. After all I wasn’t just dropping grass clippings to the tip but real rugged work. Built myself a beauty, painted it up and used it a few times      Not long after that a customer was paying for his job and saw it parked in the yard and asked if it was for sale?”.  “Why Not ?”. I thought, “ I’ll build another one”.  I did that and sold it also. This happened a few more times under different circumstances before it finally hit me.  PEOPLE OUT HERE LIKE THE TRAILERS I BUILD.      Pride of workmanship and of course the fact that I build things people want prompted me to register the name “WESTERN PRIDE“.      We now employ four local tradespeople, including a Spray Painter and still find it hard to keep up with demand.  We all take great pride in the fact that we produce arguably the best range, quality, and value for money  trailers people can buy.   THANK YOU  Western New South Wales. and proud owners of all WESTERN PRIDE products.
